We are seeking a highly skilled E-commerce Site Reliability Engineer to join our team in Singapore.

As an E-commerce Site Reliability Engineer at TikTok, you will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable, secure, and efficient e-commerce systems that meet the needs of millions of users globally.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, Linux operating system internals, networking, and microservices in cloud-native environments.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams across time zones and regions to develop key operational and maintenance processes for critical components.

The successful candidate will also have experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Mesh, MySQL, Redis, MQ, RocksDB, Mongo, and other relevant technologies.

In addition to your technical skills, you will be a systematic problem-solver with effective communication skills and a sense of drive.

Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Programming & System Analysis, Science (Computer Studies), or related discipline is required.

2 years+ of related experience is essential.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide feasible solutions using internal cloud-native products and environments.
  • Develop key operational and maintenance processes for critical components.
  • Continuously improve the capabilities of core services by optimizing efficiency, cost, quality, and security.
  • Champion infrastructure-as-code principles, focusing on scalability and service resiliency through automation.
  • Design and implement automation, data visualization, and automated monitoring processes to optimize core components.
  • Actively participate in incident management and post-mortem analysis while adhering to best practices and contributing to on-call rotations.
