Business Development Role

We are seeking an experienced Regional Business Development Executive to expand our customer portfolio and identify new business opportunities in the South East Asia region.

  • Expand and develop existing customer relationships while identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to meet sales objectives for Drive & Automation products across the South East Asia region.
  • Execute strategic sales initiatives aimed at increasing market share through targeted market penetration efforts.
  • Engage proactively with clients to understand their requirements, offer technical solutions, and present proposals that support business growth.
  • Prepare and submit tender bids, generate quotations, and actively track the tender process through to successful sales completion.
  • Collaborate closely with customer service and operations teams to ensure timely delivery and fulfillment in line with customer expectations.
  • Collect and analyze market intelligence related to customer activities, and regularly update sales progress to the Sales Manager.
  • Support marketing efforts by participating in industry events such as seminars and exhibitions.
  • Willingness and availability to travel internationally as required for business purposes.
Key Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Experience working in the Electrical industry
  • Knowledge of Low Voltage Variable Speed Drives
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
