Supply Chain Strategist

The Supply Chain Strategist plays a pivotal role in driving business growth and operational efficiency by leading the demand planning process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Forecasting & Planning
    • Develop and manage accurate forecasts for assigned product categories using statistical models, sales inputs, and market intelligence.
    • Lead regular review processes to ensure alignment between sales, marketing, and supply chain functions.
    • Continuously improve forecasting accuracy through root cause analysis and corrective action plans.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
    • Partner with sales, marketing, and finance teams to incorporate business insights into demand plans.
    • Collaborate with supply planning to ensure demand forecasts are translated into accurate production and inventory plans.
    • Act as a key liaison in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings, providing recommendations on demand scenarios.
  • Analytics & Insights
    • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), such as forecast accuracy, bias, service levels, and inventory turns, and propose improvements.
    • Provide critical demand insights to support business decision-making and strategic planning.
    • Identify risks and opportunities against the forecast and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Process Improvement & Leadership
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the demand planning function.
    • Mentor and guide junior planners to strengthen the planning capability within the team.
    • Lead projects to optimize forecasting tools, systems, and processes.
