Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our Learning and Special Needs Support team. As a Specialist or Senior Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality educational programs to children with learning difficulties/disabilities.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in teaching children individually or in small group sizes, as well as a passion for supporting children with special needs. You will also be open to working from different locations and willing to teach children in our own Intervention Programme.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Planning and teaching English and Math to children (age 5 to 12) with learning difficulties/disabilities
  • Planning and conducting individual and group intervention programmes/activities for children with special needs
  • Assessing the developmental needs of children, creating Individual Educational Programmes (IEPs) and Progress Reports (PRs) to address the needs of the children in assigned classes
  • Engaging parents in executing intervention and development strategies for the children
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum Diploma in Early Childhood/ Pre-School Teaching/ Early Years/ Special Education, Learning Disorders Management or any other related fields
  • Advanced Diploma in Early Childhood Intervention (Special Needs) preferred
  • Experience in specialised intervention methods with children (e.g. OG, Jolly Phonics, visual processing training, rhythmic movement training)
