Job Title: Special Needs Educator

The role of a special needs educator involves delivering educational services to students with learning difficulties in a group setting. This includes conducting lessons, assessing student progress, developing teaching methods and materials, and participating in awareness talks and training courses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver educational programs in a group setting (5-6 students per class).
  • Conduct assessments at least twice a year in a group setting.
  • Develop and implement tailored teaching methods and instructional materials for diverse learners.
  • Monitor student academic progress and provide regular updates to parents.
  • Collaborate with parents to address any learning challenges or concerns.
  • Participate in staff training and development initiatives.
  • Engage in curriculum design and resource development.
  • Support the implementation of new educational policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Degree from a recognized institution or university in any field.
  • Relevant experience working with students with special needs is advantageous.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
