BIM Manager Position Overview

  • BIM Leadership Role: We are seeking a highly skilled BIM Manager to oversee the implementation of Building Information Modeling (BIM) on construction projects.
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement BIM Execution Plans: To ensure project consistency and quality, the ideal candidate will develop and implement effective BIM Execution Plans.
  • Collaborate with Clients and Stakeholders: The successful candidate will work closely with clients, architects, and engineers to integrate BIM into Integrated Digital Delivery (IDD), Virtual Design Construction (VDC), and Integrated Project Delivery (IPD).
  • Coordinate Clash Reports and Meetings: Generating clash reports and leading BIM coordination meetings will be key responsibilities of this role to resolve issues and ensure timely completion.
  • Provide Guidance and Support: The selected candidate will provide guidance to architects on implementing appropriate BIM strategies and technologies.
  • Lead Multidisciplinary Teams: Leading multidisciplinary teams to ensure efficient execution of projects will be a critical aspect of this position.

Requirements for Success: To excel in this BIM Manager position, candidates must have a strong understanding of BIM processes, tools, and technologies, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills. A Specialist Diploma in BIM or a Degree in Architecture is preferred, along with at least 5 years of experience in BIM management. Proficiency in Singapore BIM Standards is necessary, and a commitment to staying updated with the latest BIM developments and a focus on continual improvement are essential.
