Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced technical lead to join our high-voltage process development team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of CMOS, Bipolar and DMOS device physics, as well as experience in high voltage device design, debugging, process integration, characterization and reliability aspect understanding.

In this role, you will be accountable for defining embedded High Voltage/BCDMOS processes compatible with our baseline CMOS in a cost-effective manner.

You will also be responsible for designing and characterizing high-voltage devices like DDD MOS, LDMOS and VDMOS etc.

The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, be resourceful, and possess a good understanding of DOE and continuous learning and knowledge upgrading attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define embedded High Voltage/BCDMOS processes compatible with GlobalFoundries' baseline CMOS in a cost-effective manner.
  • Design and characterize high-voltage devices like DDD MOS, LDMOS and VDMOS etc.
  • Establish high-voltage process/device design rules for competitive device and process performance.
  • Develop systematic design of experiments for process and device development/performance/reliability optimization.
  • Interact with cross-functional technical teams to enable unit module setup, process/device simulation, modeling, and PDK development.
  • Debug and solve high-voltage CMOS/BCDMOS process/device problems.
  • Mentor fresh engineers/AEs and provide technical guidance.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external customers and respond to technical queries.
  • Continuously improve high-voltage process/device methodologies.
  • Show mastery and breadth of technical discipline and be recognized as an authority in the field.

Required Qualifications:

  • Masters or PhD in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or Physics or equivalent (Bachelor's in Electronics Engineering with relevant experience considered).
  • >10 years of relevant experience in high-voltage CMOS/BCDMOS process development.
  • Strong understanding of CMOS, Bipolar and DMOS device physics.
  • Familiarity with automotive grade device development.
  • Experience in high-voltage device design, debugging, process integration, characterization, reliability aspect understanding, and design rule creation.
  • Experience in device simulation and optimization using TCAD tools is highly desirable.
  • Good interpersonal skills, resourcefulness, and understanding of DOE and continuous learning/knowledge upgrading attitude.
