Compliance Professional Wanted

A seasoned Compliance professional is required to support the regulatory compliance function within our client's Private Banking business.

  • Maintain and Update Compliance Policies: Ensure adherence to relevant laws and regulations, particularly in anti-money laundering (AML), and contribute to the development of effective compliance frameworks.
  • Support Compliance Training and Advisory Services: Deliver compliance training, advise on regulatory matters, and provide guidance on new regulations, business initiatives, product approvals, and licensing requirements.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Monitoring Regulatory Developments: Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes and communicate relevant updates to management and business units.
  • Coordinating Regulatory Inquiries and Audits: Respond promptly to regulatory inquiries, audits, and internal investigations, and maintain constructive relationships with regulatory bodies.
  • Conducting Compliance Reviews and Risk Assessments: Focus on AML and regulatory compliance reviews and risk assessments.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 5+ years in regulatory compliance within Wealth Management, Private Banking, or relevant professional services.
  • AML Experience: Highly desirable experience in AML reviews and KYC processes.
  • Private Banking Knowledge: Strong knowledge of Private Banking products and the regulatory landscape.
  • Languages: Proficiency in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
  • Skills: Self-motivated, detail-oriented, analytical, problem-solving skills, and a strategic mindset.
  • Teamwork: Team-oriented with a proactive and positive attitude.
