The role of a Technical Sales Trainer involves specializing in consulting services related to storage and data centre solutions. As the trainer, you will be responsible for imparting technical knowledge and consultative selling skills to sales and pre-sales teams to effectively engage with end customers.
Key Responsibilities- Design and deliver technical sales training programs that cover storage solutions, data centre technologies, and consulting-led sales approaches.
- Develop customized training content such as presentations, use cases, role plays, and assessments tailored to the client's specific needs.
- Conduct workshops, bootcamps, and refreshers for sales, pre-sales, and solutioning teams.
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear business value propositions for sales professionals.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and suggest improvements based on feedback and business outcomes.
- 5-10 years of experience in technical sales, pre-sales, or sales enablement within the storage and data centre domain.
- Strong knowledge of storage technologies, data centre infrastructure, and related consulting services.
- Previous experience as a corporate trainer or sales enablement specialist is advantageous.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to collaborate with sales leadership, product teams, and solution architects.
- Preferred qualifications include experience working with enterprise clients or large consulting firms and certifications in relevant technologies.
This is a part-time, contractual/temporary, freelance position with a hybrid remote work setup.
