Therapeutic Nutrition Professional

Company Overview

A leading provider of air cargo handling services and airline caterer seeks a skilled Therapeutic Nutrition Professional to join their team. Job Responsibilities

  • Menu Planning and Compliance: Develop and modify therapeutic menus in accordance with hospital guidelines, portioning standards, and allergen requirements. Review internal dietary guidelines and training materials for compliance with Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) Guidelines.
  • Nutritional Education and Training: Provide nutrition education to food service staff, conduct dietetic workshops, and standardize internal training materials across Medicare services.
  • Quality Assurance and Control: Uphold nutritional standards through menu reviews, supervise food preparation, and ensure variety, proper seasoning, visual appeal, temperature, and texture modification.
  • Team Leadership and Management: Manage the Control Room Operation, lead a team of 5 Diet Aides, and coordinate meal orders, printing, and belt management.
  • Client Satisfaction and Audits: Conduct audits and surveys, monitor client satisfaction, and maintain an up-to-date therapeutic menu matrix in the Electronic Meal Ordering System (EMOS).
  • Health, Safety, and Environment: Ensure health, safety, environment, and quality policies are followed, including Halal requirements.

Key Requirements

  • Education: Degree in Dietetics or relevant field.
  • Experience: At least 2-5 years' experience in food service, preferably in a large-scale operational setting.
  • Skills: Strong competency in Medical Nutrition Therapy, data analysis skills, and ability to work with stakeholders.
