Research Associate

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Research Associate in a cutting-edge project investigating the urban heat experiences and practices of Singapore households.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting ethnographic and historical research, recruiting participants, and working closely with the Principal Investigator and Co-Investigator(s) to ensure the timely completion of the project.

  • Support the conduct of physio-ethnographic research.
  • Provide administrative support to the project, including participant recruitment and data collection.
  • Maintain high standards of professional conduct and record-keeping.
  • Communicate effectively with other members of the research team.
  • Conduct literature reviews, data analysis, and drafting of reports and publications.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A good Bachelor's degree in exercise science/kinesiology, public health, life sciences, or related disciplines.
  • Strong interest and/or experience in conducting field research with human participants.
  • High proficiency in analysing, interpreting, and thinking rigorously about quantitative data.
  • Knowledge of computer applications, such as SPSS, MS Office.
