Job Title: Stone Fabrication Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Stone Fabrication Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our production department, you will be responsible for fabricating high-quality stone products using various machines and hand tools.

Your primary duties will include operating bridge-cutting machines, profiling/polishing machines, and grinding/polishing edges with portable power tools. You will also be responsible for sealing natural stones, such as Granite, after fabrication and ensuring that all work meets quality standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Physical fitness: You must be able to carry heavy weight items and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the day.
  • Mathematical calculations: Basic mathematical skills are required for accurate measurements and calculations.
  • Production timelines: You must be able to adjust to varying production timelines and prioritize tasks accordingly.
  • Teamwork: A strong ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and leaders is essential.
  • Craftsmanship: You must possess a high level of craftsmanship to use portable power tools and hand tools effectively.
  • Safety protocols: Familiarity with proper safety protocols when working with tools and equipment is necessary.
  • Drawings and diagrams: Ability to read and interpret drawings and diagrams created manually or from a CAD program.
  • CNC experience: Prior experience with CNC machines is an advantage.
  • Stone surfaces knowledge: Basic knowledge and prior experience with stone surfaces is beneficial.
