Job Opportunity

We seek an experienced research professional to support our radiochemistry team with strong academic grounding in Chemistry or Geochemistry.

This role offers hands-on experience with state-of-the-art instrumentation and methodologies in a collaborative research environment.

  • Conduct laboratory experiments under senior researcher supervision.
  • Prepare, process, and analyze environmental or geological samples using techniques like ICP-MS/MS, gamma spectroscopy, alpha/beta counting, liquid scintillation counting.
  • Maintain laboratory records, ensure accurate documentation of experimental procedures and results.
  • Assist in data analysis, interpretation, and preparation of research reports and publications.
  • Uphold laboratory safety standards, including radiation safety, chemical safety, and waste management.
  • Support ordering, inventory management, and maintenance of laboratory instruments and consumables.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Geochemistry, Radiochemistry, or closely related field.
  • Demonstrated understanding of analytical techniques relevant to radiochemistry (e.g., ICP-MS, alpha/beta counting, gamma spectroscopy, liquid scintillation counting).
  • Experience in method development and wet chemistry techniques is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of laboratory safety standards, especially radiation protection principles.
  • Experience in data analysis and scientific reporting.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a research team.
  • Advance skills in C++, Python, and/or VBA Excel are required.
  • Prior experience in isotope geochemistry laboratories is beneficial.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of analytical techniques, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
