Claim Coordinator
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating with healthcare providers to ensure timely and accurate billing submissions. This role requires strong communication and analytical skills, as well as the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Reviewing and submitting claims to insurance companies in accordance with established procedures
- Verifying patient information and claim details to prevent errors
- Communicating with healthcare providers to resolve billing discrepancies
- Monitoring and tracking payments from insurance companies
- Applying payments to patient accounts in a timely manner
- Preparing and submitting refund paperwork as needed
- Following up on overdue payments and managing collections
- Identifying and resolving billing discrepancies and issues with insurance companies
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
