Environmental Consultant Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive environmental consultant to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental regulations at various construction sites.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct daily and bi-weekly site inspections and audits to ensure strict adherence to environmental management requirements.
  • Oversee and coordinate monthly environmental monitoring activities, including fauna, flora, arboriculture, water and air quality, noise, and vibration measurements.
  • Manage the implementation and operation of the Information Management System (IMS), monitoring real-time environmental data from ECM and noise meters.
  • Collaborate closely with contractors, specialists, and other stakeholders to ensure effective environmental compliance.
  • Deliver regular biodiversity awareness training to construction personnel and support the EMMP team with project execution and other environmental sustainability initiatives.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience is preferred, but fresh graduates are welcome to apply as relevant training will be provided.
  • Candidates must be a registered Environmental Control Officer (ECO) or currently in the process of obtaining this certification.
  • Physically fit and able to work long hours at construction sites.
  • A Diploma or Degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental & Water Technology, Environmental Science, Environmental Biology, or other related qualifications will be considered.
