Job Title: Global Data Governance Leader

The role of a Global Data Governance Leader is crucial for any organization aiming to achieve operational excellence and data-driven decision-making. This leader will be responsible for governing and optimizing master data management processes, including product, customer, vendor, and finance data.

This individual will drive standardization, compliance, digital enablement, and data quality across the organization. Key responsibilities include shaping and aligning the global data strategy, ensuring seamless integration with ERP systems, especially SAP S/4HANA, and promoting a culture of data literacy and ownership within the organization.

A strong business acumen aligning data strategy to enterprise goals is essential for this position. The ability to influence senior stakeholders and collaborate globally is also critical. Additionally, this role requires an entrepreneurial mindset driving transformational change and outstanding leadership, communication, and change management skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and govern MDM processes in alignment with organizational priorities.
  • Establish and maintain master data standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Harmonize master data practices for consistency, scalability, and integration.
  • Drive data lifecycle strategy aligned with regulatory and operational requirements.
  • Champion data ownership models and ensure clear role accountability.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree and 8-10 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Bachelor's degree and 10-14 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Certification in data governance or data quality management.
  • Certification in Six Sigma, Lean, Agile, or related methodologies is a plus.
