At GMP Recruitment Services (S) Pte Ltd, we are seeking a skilled Technical Lead to join our team as a Digital Platform Support Specialist. This role will be based in Expo and reports directly to the IT Manager.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in Application or System Support function, preferably in a bank or financial institution. As a Digital Platform Support Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of production systems under the Digital Platform System team. You will work closely with the Incident Manager and IT Planner to ensure preventive and detective measures are in place, providing root cause analysis and proposing improvements for systems based on identified process gaps.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for production system integrity and readiness of systems under the Digital Platform System team.
  • Perform L2 support and troubleshooting for production incidents and critical system interfaces through Workflow and Automation systems.
  • Support the Incident Manager in identifying and implementing preventive and detective measures for applications.
  • Collaborate with the IT Planner to meet project objectives and perform production transitions for new system launches and system changes.
  • Propose process improvements based on identified gaps.
  • Standardize processes through developing implementation, integration, and documentation according to set standards.
  • Identify and propose suitable processes for automation and implementation.
  • Lead and coordinate projects, providing analytical support and executing requirement analysis for system enhancements, fixes, and emergency application changes deployment.
  • Escalate risk issues to relevant parties in a timely manner.
  • Participate in Disaster Recovery exercises for system restoration.
  • Coordinate regular meetings for issue resolution with developers.

The ideal candidate should have a Diploma / Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology with at least 4 years of experience in Application or System Support function, preferably in a bank or financial institution. You should possess hands-on experience in supporting Workflow and Automation systems and have experience working in Enterprise Application support environments with interactions between multiple functions and business users. You should also have functional knowledge of Digitalization systems and technical knowledge of Applications hosted in both Windows and LINUX.

Requirements:
  • Diploma / Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology with Min. 4 years of work experience in the Application or System Support function, preferably in a bank or financial institution.
  • Possess hands-on experience in supporting Workflow and Automation systems.
  • Experience in Enterprise Application support environment with interaction to multiple function (developer, infrastructure and service desk) and business users.
  • Possess functional knowledge of Digitalization systems (such as Customer on boarding, Funding Charges, Data Management).
  • Possess technical knowledge on Application hosted in both Windows and LINUX, able to perform database query (SQL Server, ORACLE) and handling application services under Windows Services and LINUX application services.
  • Possess good understanding and competency in scripting (such as DOS, UNIX or VBA).
