Job Title: Financial Operations Specialist

Job Description:

As a Financial Operations Specialist, you will play a crucial role in driving process improvements and controls enhancements across the organization. Your expertise in securities settlement processes, combined with your ability to work across multiple disciplines, will enable you to identify areas for optimization and implement effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate front-to-back control processes to anticipate requirements and uncover opportunities for improvement.
  • Lead ongoing reviews of business processes and develop optimization strategies for Target Operating Models, BRDs, User Stories, and Test Cases.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest process and operational advancements to automate and modernize systems.
  • Conduct meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
  • Identify, document, and analyze business requirements against risk through process discovery and manage these through to completion or escalation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of securities settlement processes across multiple products (Equities, Fixed Income, SBL, and Prime).
  • Experience working across multiple disciplines within finance or a related industry.
  • Examples of delivering process improvements and controls enhancements.
