Job Title

As a Business Process Enhancement Specialist, you will play a key role in enhancing the Commodities Documentation team with an Operations Analyst.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with Sales, Trading, Technology, and other stakeholder groups to resolve complex issues timely.
  • Coordinate trade booking exceptions between Trading and Sales desks, manage external clients and internal teams for Economic Affirmations, Legal Confirmations, and Trade Settlements.
  • Monitor operational risk throughout the trade processing lifecycle, collaborate with Legal, Compliance, and Operations teams to ensure full compliance with financial regulatory reforms, internal risk management protocols, and industry-wide market practices.
  • Develop and implement global fraud prevention controls by governing the confirmation process according to firm policies.
  • Design and develop systems and processes to accommodate regulatory, industry, and new business initiatives.
  • Collaborate with regional and global Operations teams to execute broad-based strategies and projects.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Proactive, enthusiastic, and creative approach with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong collaboration skills and effective interaction with a wide range of individuals.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills with discretion and good judgment.
  • Trade Support/Documentation experience within Commodities is highly desirable.
  • Derivatives knowledge and Commodities market expertise would be beneficial.
  • Minimum of 2 years of working experience.
  • Ability to work well inside a group and across an organization; also independent and self-driven when needed.
  • Multitask effectively and remain composed in high-pressure environments with organized workload and prioritization skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, confident in communicating with varied audiences.
  • Attention to details and urgency in escalating and resolving outstanding issues.
