Process Excellence Lead Opportunity

The Process Excellence team requires a Process Excellence Lead to partner across the organisation, supporting the development and maintenance of a consistent and robust process universe for the business. The role involves interaction with senior management and key stakeholders to identify opportunities and challenges and drive transformational activities to simplify, digitise, standardise, and automate key processes.

The successful candidate will partner with key stakeholders to ensure processes are documented as per agreed standards. They will build relationships and influence stakeholders to drive transparency, accountability, and a culture of continuous improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a consistent and robust process universe for the business.
  • Engage with key stakeholders to educate them on roles, responsibilities, and ensure they deliver what is expected of them.
  • Build relationships, trust, and credibility across senior management and key stakeholders.
  • Maintain the process universe, linked to other relevant taxonomies, and systems to gather key data points.
  • Drive team members toward delivering on their commitments.
  • Create a positive working environment with stakeholders and team members.
  • Tackle conflicts and difficult interpersonal situations effectively.
  • Demonstrate good technical PE capabilities and business understanding to influence effectively.
  • Lead the deployment and adoption of process excellence capabilities.
  • Define data and source systems required to link processes with data points.
  • Understand other businesses' capabilities / industry relating to process universe and analytics.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvements across departments and functions.
  • Demonstrate ability to influence, drive results, and 'get things done.'
  • Define data and analytics required to make the process universe useful and insightful.
  • Manage the common tool for the business, articulating how process flows should be captured and documented.
  • Capture required data and link information to processes to generate analytics and insights.
  • Conduct quality assurance to ensure processes are well documented and in line with guidance and agreed principles.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ensure key stakeholders are kept aware of status, risks & issues ('no surprises').

People & Talent:

  • Develop talent in the team.
  • Manage team and support growth and development plans.

Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 10+ years in the project / programme / portfolio management space, supporting or delivering mid-large size, complex initiatives.
  • Knowledge of the business, in terms of key processes, stakeholder groups, and other taxonomies.
  • Knowledge of process taxonomies, ORX, and process management tooling.
  • Strategic thinking, ability to identify opportunities, and translate this into roadmap and actionable plan.
