Job Title: Cybersecurity Solutions Consultant

At ST Engineering, we are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Solutions Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our cybersecurity team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with our sales team to identify and pursue sales opportunities in the cybersecurity domain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute the sales strategy, working with supporting business units to obtain support and assist the sales team in delivering results.
  • Be a technology and solution advisor with sound knowledge in the cybersecurity domain, providing credible advice on security landscape, architectural models, and solutions.
  • Act as a solution consultant, able to speak to senior members of client teams, and possess the ability to discuss and present solutions.
  • Conversant in solution design methodologies and security by design guidelines, and have the ability to generate high-quality artifacts such as requirements, high-level and detailed designs, and deployment plans.
  • Have an understanding across the breadth of cyber technology domains, including network security, endpoint security, security consulting, incident response, threat detection, and managed security solutions, and understanding the inter-relationships between major components.
  • Lead and shape client expectations, and be a primary facilitator and lead large groups.
  • Help drive pursuits and engage in deals as a team, matching outcomes to expectations.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience working in a pre-sales capacity related to the cybersecurity domain, such as network security, endpoint security, security consulting, incident response, SIEM, threat detection, and managed security solutions.
  • Excellent knowledge of security solutions and technologies, including operating systems, network architecture, and security solutions.
  • Familiar with defense regulations and compliance.
  • Strong technical skills with the ability to prioritize and execute in a methodical and disciplined manner, set and manage expectations with senior stakeholders and team members.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present to a variety of external audiences, including senior executives.
  • History of creating rapport with customers at all levels.
  • Professional security-related qualification, such as CISA, CISM, CISSP, GCIA, etc.
  • Comfortable working in a project-based/client-serving model.
