Job Description

The Sub-Portfolio Manager will assist a Senior Portfolio Manager in managing capital trading predominantly in FX and Rates. This role requires close collaboration with the PM to manage the trading book while adhering to the firm's risk management framework.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the PM in managing the trading book and ensuring compliance with the firm's risk management framework
  • Conduct market analysis and research new investment ideas to support the PM
  • Develop tools and models to enhance idea generation and execution efficiency
Requirements
  • At least 5-7 years of trading experience in the front office on the sell or buy side
  • Actual track record of trading across derivative products in Emerging Markets and/or G10 Rates and FX for the last 5 years
  • Relevant degree from a reputable university in Mathematics, Finance, or Computing
  • Proficiency in using macroeconomic toolkits like Haver, CEIC, Macrobond, or Bloomberg
  • Familiarity with statistical and econometric concepts
  • Programming/coding skills in VBA or Python are an asset
