Service Engineer Job Description

The role of a Service Engineer is to ensure the efficient maintenance, installation, and servicing of our equipment. This involves close collaboration with clients, providing technical support and hands-on troubleshooting to meet their requirements.

  • Support, installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, repairing, and preventive maintenance for equipment.
  • Communicate with suppliers, peers, and customers to accurately relay technical information.
  • Respond to customers' requests by troubleshooting problems and take corrective actions within targeted timelines.
  • Provide technical training and support to client staff as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate service records and documentation for all client visits.
  • Manage spare parts inventory.
  • Practice good health and safety in the workplace.
Requirements
  • Degree in Electrical and Electronics / Mechanical / Automation / Mechatronics Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 2-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in Semiconductor Industry / handling Semiconductor equipment is preferred.
  • Strong hands-on skills, troubleshooting, maintenance, PM, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with clients.
  • Bilingual (Chinese & English) to liaise with Chinese-speaking associates.
