System Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled System Maintenance Engineer to join our mission-critical IT operations team at Changi Airport. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the uptime and performance of our 24/7 IT infrastructure.

  • Job Responsibilities:
  • Monitor IT systems from a control room to ensure smooth operation
  • Perform routine system health checks to identify potential issues
  • Respond promptly to system alerts and carry out first-level troubleshooting
  • Log and escalate incidents based on established SOPs
  • Assist in configuration and maintenance of IT hardware (PCs, printers, network devices)
  • Maintain accurate records of IT assets and incidents
  • Follow SOPs and recommend improvements for better system operations
Requirements:
  • Education:
  • Minimum ITE / Higher Nitec in Information Technology, Infocomm, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • Skills and Qualifications:
  • Some IT support/infrastructure exposure preferred
  • Willingness to commit to 12-hour rotating shifts, including weekends & public holidays
  • Responsibility and dependability
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Immediate or short notice availability is preferred
