System Maintenance Specialist Position Overview

Job Summary:

A System Maintenance Specialist is responsible for delivering corrective maintenance services and activities for various systems, including access control, video surveillance, networks, servers, and security integration platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide on-site technical support for integrated security systems
  • Perform routine and corrective maintenance, software updates, bug fixes, testing, and commissioning to meet contractual requirements
  • Compile reports and PM work checklists for billing purposes and CM works report for filing
  • Monitor spare parts inventory levels to support system downtime and equipment end-of-life/end-of-sale (EOL/EOS)
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and clients on site matters, work schedules, and quality of work
Requirements:
  • At least 2-3 years of working experience in security systems products
  • Proficient in troubleshooting video surveillance, door access, and alarm systems
  • Experienced in 24/7 standby operations
  • Candidates should have good interpersonal communication and presentation skills and be a team player
