Teppanyaki Chef Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Teppanyaki Chef to join our culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving food on a Teppanyaki table, while entertaining guests with their cooking skills.

The ideal candidate will have excellent catering skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure. They will be responsible for planning and coordinating food production to meet meal serving hours, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to a high standard of quality, temperature, and appearance.

The Teppanyaki Chef will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary work area, including equipment and storage areas. They will comply with hygiene and sanitation regulations and safety standards at all times.

In addition to their culinary skills, the successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. They will be required to report any necessary equipment repair and maintenance, workplace incidents or failure to meet performance standards to higher authority.

To succeed in this role, you will need to be passionate about cooking and providing exceptional customer service. You will have a positive and professional approach with co-workers and customers, and be able to maintain a calm and composed demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
