About This Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our project QS team in ensuring effective cost management and contract administration.
- Cost Management: Monitoring and controlling project costs in line with financial projections.
- Variation Management: Preparing, reviewing, and negotiating variations, claims, and other contractual entitlements with clients and consultants.
- Contract Administration: Ensuring accurate and timely cost reporting, forecasting, and financial updates to stakeholders.
- Procurement: Overseeing procurement and administration of subcontractors, suppliers, and consultant services.
- Risk Management: Identifying and highlighting key commercial and contractual risks.
- Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building Science, or related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in the construction industry, preferably with a main contractor.
- Solid understanding of contract and construction law, tendering procedures, contract conditions, and variation/claim management.
- Strong cost control skills with a proven track record in managing project finances.
- Able to lead QS team with hands-on approach and work well under fast-paced environment.
