Job Title: Commercial Logistics Specialist

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Logistics Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for negotiating freight rates with carriers and feeders, as well as working with trade teams to develop outbound business.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Negotiate freight rates with carriers and feeders to ensure optimal pricing.
  2. Work closely with trade teams to develop outbound business from APAC to the rest of the network.
  3. Independently handle pricing for all projects, including spot requests and tender RFQs generated by sales teams.
  4. Ensure timely responses and quote submissions to each network office for RFQs and business enquiries.
  5. Plan and schedule logistics solutions to meet customer delivery commitments.
  6. Identify opportunities for cost savings and implement measures to increase profit margins.
  7. Support the Trade Manager in overall commercial activities.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Junior to Executive level specialization in purchasing, corporate, logistics/supply chain or equivalent.
  • Minimum GCE O Level qualification.
