The Asia Operations team is responsible for providing operational capabilities to Azqore's client banks, enabling them to focus on strategy execution while reducing operational costs and improving risk management. Commitment to quality and continuous process improvement drives all Asia Operations activities. This function plays a key role in facilitating Azqore's ambitious growth target by prioritizing client needs, adding value, and enhancing satisfaction.

Within the Asia Operations team, the Securities department handles processing and managing risks related to securities & derivatives settlements, securities transfers, corporate actions, asset creation, and maintenance.

The incumbent will be part of this dynamic function, responsible for:

  • Processing and controlling processes within the Securities function.
  • Ensuring efficiency and productivity in delivering quality services to Azqore's clients.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to provide clients with technical expertise and solutions in a comprehensive, timely, and accurate manner.
  • Facilitating business growth through ensuring high-quality processing of client banking transactions and excellence in risk management.

Your responsibilities:

  • Manage Corporate Actions processing within the Asia Securities Operations team. Understanding core systems and workflows is essential.
  • Maintain operational efficiency, excellence, and low levels of operational risk.
  • Align Asia Securities Operations team members with Operations and Company goals and vision.
  • Act as point of contact for Asian clients and relevant stakeholders on Corporate Actions queries, concerns, and issues.
  • Demonstrate front-to-back knowledge of the process(es) managed.
  • Assume deputy Head of Asia Securities Operations role.
  • Lead Operations projects and initiatives, including migrating remaining Corporate Actions processes into Asia.
  • Drive cross-border collaboration and strengthen communication channels between Swiss and Singapore teams.
  • Enhance client service standards within the team, positively impacting client ratings for Operations.

Your core competencies:

  • Bachelor degree or professional qualification in Banking/Finance.
  • At least 10 years of experience in Corporate Actions processes, with the last 5 years in people management.
  • Familiarity with financial products, market infrastructures, regulations, and operational risks.
  • Knowledgeable about SWIFT message types and front-to-back processes.
  • Proven track record in Client Service & Stakeholder Management Skills.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills.
