Product Manager Role

This role reports to the Product Director and is responsible for managing our monitors and TV range of products. As a Product Manager, you'll oversee the strategic planning, commercialization, and operationalization of your product category, driving its growth and success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy, considering global market trends, customer needs, and business goals.
  • Source and maintain relationships with partners, working closely to design and manufacture new product models.
  • Lead and drive product development, conduct market research, define product requirements, and manage product roadmaps and timelines.
  • Partner with software development on product requirements and oversee smart home integration for the product category.
  • Identify and prioritize new product opportunities based on market trends, customer needs, and competitive analysis.
  • Work with marketing to monitor and drive product success.
  • Drive innovation within product areas, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
  • Ensure senior management is informed about product category progress through regular reports and communication.
  • Implement cost-down initiatives, sourcing manufacturers and negotiating prices for existing products.
  • Manage sales in the product category, working with marketing to drive product success.
  • Forecast sales and ensure sufficient inventory is in stock.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Management, Marketing, Commerce, Engineering, or Finance.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant B2B product management experience, with the ability to independently lead the agenda.
  • An analytical self-starter, comfortable with uncertainty, and able to dive in and test all angles without supervision.
  • Data-driven, with the ability to structure, quantify, and qualify information on product research and present it to stakeholders.
  • Strong business acumen, understanding the wider environment and implications of trends, shifts in sustainability, and consumer perception.
  • Detailed-oriented with strong project management skills on multi-market projects.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, with a strong preference for candidates who can communicate in Mandarin Chinese at a business level.
