Job Title:

Associate, Private Trustees in Bankruptcy Service

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to assist in the administration of bankruptcy estates. This role requires a strong understanding of legal aspects, processes and timelines involved in bankruptcy administrations.

  • Preparation of letters, notices, emails and reports
  • Taking control of the bankrupt's assets followed by realization
  • Gathering information from bankrupts and other third parties
  • Maintaining a database of information and records
  • Reviewing and presenting financial information
  • Conducting site visits
  • Adjudicating creditors' claims
  • Investigating past transactions
  • Assisting with reviewing case/issues and preparation of file-notes
  • Attending meetings and taking down minutes
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Degree in Accountancy, Law or other professional accounting qualifications recognized by ISCA
  • Strong analytical and report writing skills with the ability to interpret data, generate insights and construct solutions
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple deadlines
  • A strong team player
