As a senior counsellor, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality counselling sessions for offenders, ex-offenders, and their families on addiction issues.

  • You will be responsible for delivering face-to-face individual and group counselling sessions, working closely with community partners and authorities to ensure clients receive the necessary resources and support.
  • In addition, you will prepare and submit comprehensive case reports in a timely manner, developing and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and coordination.

To excel in this role, you must have the following skills and qualifications:

  • A degree in Psychology or related field is required.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience working with offenders and ex-offenders will be an advantage.
  • Certification as a Substance Addiction Counsellor (CSAC) with Association of Professional Addiction Counsellor (APSAC) certification will be given priority.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and one other local language are essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is also required.
