Job Title: Fresh Fruit Supply Chain Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced professional to lead our fresh fruit supply chain operations in Hong Kong and China. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing procurement, distribution, and logistics strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management:
    • Develop and execute sourcing strategies to secure premium fruit products from China and Hong Kong.
    • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and growers.
    • Negotiate favorable terms and ensure product quality standards.
  • Supply Chain & Logistics Oversight:
    • Design and implement efficient distribution channels to deliver products on time and at a competitive price.
    • Oversee logistics, including freight, customs clearance, warehousing, and inventory management.
    • Monitor and improve supply chain performance metrics.
  • Market & Industry Analysis:
    • Conduct market intelligence to identify new sourcing opportunities, pricing trends, and innovative distribution methods.
    • Stay ahead of regional import/export regulations affecting fruit trade.
  • Travel & On-Ground Leadership:
    • Lead on-site visits to farms, suppliers, and logistics hubs in China and Hong Kong.
    • Manage on-ground teams and coordinate with local partners to ensure compliance and quality standards.
  • Team Leadership & Collaboration:
    • Supervise procurement and logistics teams, fostering a results-driven culture.
    • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product development teams to align supply chain strategies with business objectives.
