Regional Credit Excellence Manager

We are seeking an experienced professional to oversee and optimize credit management processes across the SAPMENA region. This individual will be responsible for ensuring efficient customer credit operations, minimizing risk, and driving excellence in management practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement credit management strategies and policies in alignment with the company's overall objectives and financial goals.
  • Oversee and manage credit levels across the region, ensuring levels are maintained within budget while meeting business turnover targets, preparing reports and presenting findings to senior management.
  • Monitor and evaluate risk across the region, identifying potential areas of concern and implementing proactive measures to mitigate risk.
  • Identify and implement transformation initiatives, such as tools, processes, or operating models that can enhance efficiency and improve process quality and productivity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Finance, and Operations, to align deductions strategy and ensure effective credit management practices.
  • Conduct regular credit reviews and assessments to assess the creditworthiness of customers and make informed credit decisions.
  • Review credit policies and insurance coverage across all countries to ensure minimal risk exposure.
  • Provide guidance and support to regional credit teams, ensuring adherence to credit policies and procedures.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the credit management skills of regional credit teams.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements related to credit management.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in credit management, preferably in a regional or multi-country capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of credit risk assessment methodologies, credit policies, and credit management best practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound credit decisions based on thorough analysis.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis tools and credit management SAP T-codes.
  • Strong understanding of legal and regulatory requirements related to credit management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Professional certifications in credit management or risk management are a plus.
