Technical Specialist/ Assistant Service Engineer Job

Deliver outstanding crane structural integrity assurance services by performing Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) and examining, interpreting, evaluating, and recording test results.

Requirements
  • Higher NITEC / NITEC in Mechanical Technology or equivalent qualification is necessary for this role.
  • A minimum of three years' experience in NDT works is required to be considered for this position.
  • Possession of an NDT Level 2 Certificate in Magnetic Particle Testing is essential.
  • NICEIC certification or equivalent would be advantageous.

This technical specialist will be responsible for conducting tests on cranes, lifting equipment, and other related machinery to ensure their structural integrity. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills and be able to interpret complex data. Regular travel to construction sites may be required.

  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Knowledge of hydraulic systems and electrical components.
  • Familiarity with preventative maintenance procedures.
