Patient Care and Support:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs and treatment response evaluation, to identify any potential issues or concerns.
- Work closely with nursing staff to assist with haemodialysis procedures and provide support for personal hygiene, mobility, and comfort needs.
- Monitor patient conditions and report any abnormalities before, during, and after dialysis treatments to ensure timely intervention.
- FOLLOW established emergency protocols for dialysis-related emergencies to ensure the safety and well-being of patients.
Equipment and Environmental Management:
- Sterilize dialysis equipment and maintain a clean environment to prevent the spread of infection and promote a safe working space.
- Prepare dialysis machines for treatment sessions and report any equipment malfunctions to ensure prompt repair and minimize downtime.
- Maintain consumable stock levels and assist with medical materials administration to ensure a seamless service.
Requirements:
- Minimum GCE 'N' or 'O' Level Certification or relevant healthcare support qualification.
- Able to work 6 days a week in rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays, to meet the needs of our patients.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks assisting patients effectively and safely.
- Good interpersonal skills and team collaboration abilities to work effectively with colleagues and patients.
- Previous healthcare experience preferred, but not essential.
