Job Title: Front Desk Ambassador

The Front Desk Ambassador is a key member of our hotel team, responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences through personalized service and attention to detail.

\

In this role, you will be the first point of contact for guests upon arrival, providing a warm welcome and setting the tone for their stay. You will be responsible for processing check-in/check-out, including luggage assistance, as well as answering inquiries about hotel services, in-house events, directions, attractions, and more.

\

You will also assist guests with safety boxes, additional guest room keys, transportation, and other needs, ensuring that their stay is comfortable and enjoyable. Additionally, you will pre-register, block reservations, and take same-day and future reservations, while canceling room reservations according to policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to all guests, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.\
  • Process check-in/check-out, including luggage assistance, and answer inquiries about hotel services, in-house events, directions, attractions, and more.\
  • Assist guests with safety boxes, additional guest room keys, transportation, and other needs.\
  • Pre-register, block reservations, and take same-day and future reservations.\
  • Cancel room reservations according to policies and procedures.\
  • Perform night audit during midnight shift and prepare necessary reports.\
  • Ensure release of any Company, hotel, brand, and guest information is consistent with privacy policies, practices, and regulations.\
  • Attend department meetings as scheduled.\
  • Consistent professional and positive attitude and actions when communicating with guests and associates.\
  • Flexibility to work in other positions/departments as the need arises.\
  • Comply with policies and procedures, practice safe work habits, and comply with sanitary, safety, security, and emergency procedures.\
  • Write shift reports, including reports on any incidents of theft, accidents, or injuries when assigned.\
  • Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned. Participate in task forces and committees as requested.\
  • Any other duties as required by management.\

    • Skill Level: High school diploma or equivalent required; previous experience in hospitality industry preferred.\
    • Languages: English fluency required; proficiency in multiple languages an asset.\
    • Knowledge: Knowledge of hotel operations, policies, and procedures; basic math skills.\
    • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced hotel environment, with frequent exposure to cash handling, customer complaints, and conflicting demands from guests and colleagues.\
    • Working Hours: Variable shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.\
