Job Title: Front Desk Ambassador
\The Front Desk Ambassador is a key member of our hotel team, responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences through personalized service and attention to detail.
\In this role, you will be the first point of contact for guests upon arrival, providing a warm welcome and setting the tone for their stay. You will be responsible for processing check-in/check-out, including luggage assistance, as well as answering inquiries about hotel services, in-house events, directions, attractions, and more.
\You will also assist guests with safety boxes, additional guest room keys, transportation, and other needs, ensuring that their stay is comfortable and enjoyable. Additionally, you will pre-register, block reservations, and take same-day and future reservations, while canceling room reservations according to policies and procedures.
\Responsibilities:

- Provide exceptional customer service to all guests, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.\
- Process check-in/check-out, including luggage assistance, and answer inquiries about hotel services, in-house events, directions, attractions, and more.\
- Assist guests with safety boxes, additional guest room keys, transportation, and other needs.\
- Pre-register, block reservations, and take same-day and future reservations.\
- Cancel room reservations according to policies and procedures.\
- Perform night audit during midnight shift and prepare necessary reports.\
- Ensure release of any Company, hotel, brand, and guest information is consistent with privacy policies, practices, and regulations.\
- Attend department meetings as scheduled.\
- Consistent professional and positive attitude and actions when communicating with guests and associates.\
- Flexibility to work in other positions/departments as the need arises.\
- Comply with policies and procedures, practice safe work habits, and comply with sanitary, safety, security, and emergency procedures.\
- Write shift reports, including reports on any incidents of theft, accidents, or injuries when assigned.\
- Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned. Participate in task forces and committees as requested.\

- Skill Level: High school diploma or equivalent required; previous experience in hospitality industry preferred.\
- Languages: English fluency required; proficiency in multiple languages an asset.\
- Knowledge: Knowledge of hotel operations, policies, and procedures; basic math skills.\
- Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced hotel environment, with frequent exposure to cash handling, customer complaints, and conflicting demands from guests and colleagues.\
