Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Learn to Swim Instructor to join our team. As a Learn to Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for coaching Swim PE classes and Learn to Swim classes to children age 3 and above.

Your primary focus will be on developing essential motor skills, coordination, and athletic abilities in young children through swimming instruction. You will report to the General Manager and be part of our passionate team and community of coaches.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coach Learn to Swim students according to our comprehensive curriculum.
  • Coach Swim Physical Education students according to our curriculum.
  • Attend Epic Swim's in-house training program and work closely with senior coaches prior to coaching independently.
  • Provide timely feedback to parents on their child's progress and maintain accurate student records.
  • Participate in regular workshops and courses to continuously improve coaching skills.
  • Fulfill administrative tasks related to the program, including meet entries, attendance reports, and student performance tracking.
  • Maintain a professional image as an ambassador of our brand.
  • Engage actively in our coaches' community.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A passion for sports and teaching young children.
  • The ability to multitask and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated team player qualities with an open mindset to learning and improvement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A willingness to attend our in-house training program and fulfill 52 hours of coaching practical attachment.
