Salary

The estimated annual salary for this role is $120,000-$150,000, commensurate with experience.

Job Description

This senior leadership position requires a strategic thinker with exceptional networking and relationship-building skills. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive strategies to engage philanthropic donors and partners, aligning with our organization's mission and goals.

You will build and lead a high-performing donor success team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure their success in exceeding fundraising targets. This includes executing NCSS' Sustainable Philanthropy Framework, identifying and establishing partnerships with corporations, government agencies, trade associations, and SSAs to leverage resources and maximize impact.

Your expertise in managing demanding stakeholder relationships, displaying grace under pressure, resolving conflict, and achieving sustainable long-term partnerships will be invaluable assets to our team.

In collaboration with internal teams, including Philanthropic Experience and Strategy, Services, Fund Allocations, Communications, and Finance, you will ensure alignment and integration of fundraising efforts with organizational objectives.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven track record of at least 15+ years in customer success, account management, or a related field, preferably with the past 6 years in leadership positions.
  • High energy, people-oriented leadership & demonstrated track record in successfully leading and scaling a revenue-generating team, customer-facing, preferably in securing major gifts, grants, and revenue-generating partnerships.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience in crafting persuasive proposals and presentations.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement innovative fundraising strategies.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and complex organizational environment.
  • Commercially astute with strong business acumen and change management experience, coupled with a passion for and keen understanding of social services sector trends and opportunities.
