This model aims to prepare individuals for future success, enhance their quality of life, and support a flourishing society. We seek a Research Assistant to support research activities on cognitive flexibility and learning, and training-related brain changes among adults and adolescents.
About the Role
The successful candidate will work in a dynamic interdisciplinary environment, collaborating with project team members and taking part in research activities related to human neuroimaging, language, infant cognition/learning, and pedagogy. Key responsibilities include conducting literature reviews, conducting interviews, liaising with school personnel, survey construction, evaluation, and administration, assisting in quantitative and qualitative processing and analysis, project and data management, maintaining research records, collecting primary data, responsible for data coding and entry, report preparation, and assisting in the analysis of findings.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in psychology with a background in cognition or related field.
- Experience conducting surveys, psychological testing, behavioural testing, and cognitive experiments.
- Experience conducting literature reviews and writing academic reports.
- Experience with statistical analysis using SPSS and/or R language.
- Good ICT skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to work effectively within deadlines.
- Interest in research at the intersection of neuroscience, social science, education, and cognition.
