Job Opportunity:We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented professional to join our operations team as a Specimen Management Associate.About the Role:
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the receipt, processing, and shipment of specimens in accordance with company procedures and applicable regulatory guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the receipt of consignments and shipments, ensuring timely and accurate delivery
  • Open shipments, conduct quality checks on patient information forms, and escalate any issues to senior staff
  • Dispose or recycle kit shipping supplies correctly and ensure specimens are not left in packaging
  • Ship specimens for long-term storage or client disposition, adhering to company protocols
  • Support after-hour alarms and job-critical functions as needed
  • Contribute to supply inventory management and general workspace cleanup
  • Perform various administrative tasks as required
  • Organize the work area according to management requests
  • Foster a safe working environment by following established safety procedures
  • Pursue ongoing education through self-study and attendance at meetings
  • Work within the constraints of company policies and relevant regulations
