Job Title: Mechanical Assistant Engineer

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Assistant Engineer to join our team.

We offer the opportunity to work on various maintenance projects, including mechanical related maintenance in the process unit, CMMS process management, and HSSE compliance. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with experience in oil/petrochemical industries.

  1. Maintenance Team Collaboration: The selected candidate will be part of a dynamic maintenance team responsible for executing mechanical related maintenance in the process unit. They will work closely with the site's CMMS process (Asset Management System) to manage plant maintenance work.
  2. HSSE Compliance: As an integral part of our team, the successful candidate will strive to deliver Goal Zero targets in HSSE (Health, Safety, Security & Environment). They will participate in scheduled safety walkabouts, assess risk associated with day-to-day jobs, and identify potential hazards.
  3. Maintenance Execution: The Mechanical Assistant Engineer will perform execution of preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, and reactive/corrective maintenance. They will also undertake all maintenance activities related to Marine Loading Arms, Pipeline repair, Waterfront Activities, and MOC (Management of Change) activities.
  4. Resource Management: This role requires the ability to manage portfolios that vary in scope and complexity. The selected candidate will supervise contractors' field activities, drive productivity, and optimize resources and costs.
  5. Cost Control: Our team strives to keep routine maintenance, projects, special maintenance, and shutdown spending within budget. The Mechanical Assistant Engineer will participate in cost control efforts and report to the maintenance team lead.

We seek a candidate with a Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent and minimum 5 years relevant working experience in the oil/petrochemical industry. Strong knowledge of SAP, craftwork practices, materials procurement, and HSSE requirements is essential.
