Mechanical Maintenance Specialist

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing all statutory and non-statutory mechanical maintenance of Balance of Plant equipment, including Tank farms, cooling water systems, chemical plants, instrument air compressors, and other related systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out first-line troubleshooting of mechanical defects and abnormalities in CCPs.
- Prepare Air Receivers for Statutory Inspection by MOM approved Authorized Examiners.
- Work with relevant authorities for timely inspection and testing of Pressure Vessels – Air Receivers.
- Carry out preventive maintenance work at site.
- Attend to unexpected findings during inspections/overhauls with advice from the Engineering Section.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering recognized by the Professional Engineers Board.
- Degree: 2 years of experience on operational & maintenance aspects of above ground storage tanks, large capacity cooling water pumps and other qualifications as required under the relevant statutory and regulatory Act.
- Diploma: 5 – 8 years of experience on operational & maintenance aspects of above ground storage tanks, large capacity cooling water pumps and other qualifications as required under the relevant statutory and regulatory Act.
- Basic interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good analytical skills.
- Able to work in teams and individually.
