This is a critical role responsible for leading the recruitment, engagement, and retention of volunteers. The ideal candidate will be able to build strong relationships with volunteers, manage their activities, and support the charity's long-term volunteer strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the onboarding process, providing orientation sessions for new volunteers and delivering general training as needed.">
  • Engage with volunteers to ensure they feel valued and connected to the charity's mission, plan and organize recognition events, and provide ongoing support and communication.">
  • Deploy and coordinate volunteers with appropriate roles based on their skills, interests, and programme needs.">
  • Manage volunteer records, schedules, and reporting, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.">
  • Organize events, meetings, and recognition initiatives for volunteers, fostering a positive experience.">
Requirements:">

The successful candidate will have:

  • A diploma or degree in any discipline, preferably with 2 years of experience in social sector, event coordination, or community outreach.">
  • Fresh graduates are welcome, but must have a positive mindset and some past volunteering experience.">
  • Experience working with diverse groups of volunteers and community partners.">
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, strategic planning, and time management skills.">
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and prioritize effectively.">
  • Ability to address challenges in volunteer management, ensuring smooth operations and satisfaction for both volunteers and the charity.">
