About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Manager to provide high-level administrative support to our Vice Dean of Research. This is an exceptional opportunity to contribute to advancing our School's position as a leading hub for computing research.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in the strategic planning and implementation of processes that enhance and support research. They will lead the development and execution of initiatives to enhance research visibility, manage and mentor a team of administrators, and ensure compliance with relevant policies and laws.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic initiatives to enhance research visibility
  • Serve as the main point of contact for coordinating, preparing, and submitting research proposals, agreements, and project reports
  • Manage and mentor a team of administrators, fostering a collaborative environment
  • Ensure compliance with relevant policies and laws in research practices
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university with prior experience in executive or academic administration
  • Strong understanding of university governance, organizational structure, and current trends in higher education
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships across diverse stakeholder groups
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in SAP or S/4HANA, Microsoft Office applications, and data visualization tools
