Job Overview

We are seeking a Chief Innovation Researcher to pioneer new approaches to experimentation in adult learning. This role focuses on advancing innovation through authentic, community-based research and distributed experimentation models.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Research Leadership: Shape, direct, and oversee distributed experimental research efforts, including the design of protocols and experimentation playbooks that equip community stakeholders to test innovations in authentic practice settings.
2. Data and Analytics: Develop and implement fit-for-purpose approaches to data collection and analysis across diverse experimental contexts, leveraging accessible analytics outputs that can be readily used by non-academic stakeholders.
3. Knowledge Translation: Deliver both academic publications and practitioner-oriented reports to disseminate findings broadly and support the scaling of promising innovations.

Requirements:
1. Postgraduate research degree (PhD or Master's) in the social sciences.
2. Experienced in managing a small team.
3. At least 8 years of relevant research in social science domains.
4. Strong track record in experimental and/or applied research, with openness to methodological innovation and community-engaged approaches.
