Job Description

This role is responsible for managing the development and implementation of new polymeric solutions, including formulation and application of markers/codes in various polymer materials. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in polymer science or materials engineering.

The Plastic R&D Engineer will work alongside the Head of Technology & Commercialization in all technical and operational activities related to the polymeric solutions portfolio. This includes managing laboratory operations, developing new polymer solutions compatible & integrable with client's process, conducting tests and trials, implementing technology solutions for client projects.

This role will be responsible for designing and optimizing solutions for an efficient and cost-effective production of polymers. As well as conducting tests and analyzing data to ensure the quality and performance of polymer materials.

The main responsibilities of this role include:

  • Technical Development: Support the development and implementation of new polymeric marking solutions, conduct and oversee R&D experiments and trials, analyze test results and provide detailed technical reports.
  • Lab & Testing Management: Manage day-to-day lab operations, ensure the lab is configured and structured to meet project needs and safety standards, coordinate testing schedules and oversee the execution of tests and pilots.
  • Client Technology Implementation: Assist in the planning and execution of technology implementation projects for clients, act as a technical liaison between the company and clients, providing technical support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
