**About our client**:Our client is a leading global provider of fluid engineering technologies, with a primary focus in Oil & Gas, Chemical, Petrochemical and Process Industries.
**About the role:
- Driving the set-up and implementation of the APAC polymer chemical recycling technology and market roadmap
- Coordinating R&D, process development and customer testing activities for polymer recycling with the global team.
- Being the contact person for all technical questions related to polymer recycling in APAC, in particular for the chemical recycling of polymers
- Ensuring that short-term and long-term strategy is executed
- Prioritizing and supervising early phase and sales projects together with other specialists
- Building strong relationships with universities and other technical stakeholders who are active in the field of polymer recycling
- Representing the company at technical conferences and possibly writing technical papers
- Managing and coordinating the company’s Polymer Recycling “APAC cluster” with the relevant segment representatives
**About you**:
- Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering (or Process Engineering)
- At least 7 - 10 years of experience in the field of polymer production, processing, and/or chemical recycling
- Technically agile with critical matters related to the handling/production of monomers and polymers.
- Well aware of market trends, players, and current projects in the APAC plastic recycling sector
- Experiences with chemical recycling
- Team player, excellent communication skills, aware of multicultural differences
- Fluent in English, any other language is an advantage
- Travel requirements: 20-40% (worldwide)
