Job Title: Senior Quality Assurance Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Governance Professional to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and supporting the clinical quality and safety programme within our organisation.

  • The ideal candidate will have experience in identifying, coordinating and participating with relevant departments in developing quality models, standards development, design and implementation of audits and risk management activities.
  • They will ensure accurate data collation and compilation for various clinical quality activities including clinical performance indicators.
  • Additionally, they will provide support to QA and Clinical Services committees and seek opportunities to improve work processes and highlight areas for improvement.
  • Managers incidents and serious reportable events, conducts root cause analysis, and demonstrates management skills necessary to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders/partners across the system.
  • Facilitates presentation of improvement efforts and ongoing measures of clinical processes to management to enable an effective learning environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in Nursing / Healthcare or related field required.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in healthcare / nursing/ Medical Affairs, Clinical Governance preferred.
  • Medical knowledge and understanding of medical terms essential.
  • Able to confidently pitch initiatives to teams.

  • Negotiate change, promote continuous improvement approaches and standards across the institution.
  • Work effectively with teams across the hospital and institutions.
