Job Overview:
As a Medical Governance Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating and supporting our organisation's clinical quality and safety programme. You will work closely with various departments to develop quality models, standards, and implement audits and risk management activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the development and implementation of quality models and standards for clinical governance.
- Participate in the design and execution of audits and risk management activities to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Evaluate and report on data collation and compilation for various clinical quality activities, including performance indicators.
- Support Quality Assurance (QA) and Clinical Services committees by providing insights and recommendations for process improvement.
- Manage incidents and serious reportable events through thorough root cause analysis.
Requirements:
To succeed as a Medical Governance Specialist, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a related field.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in healthcare, nursing, or medical affairs, with a focus on clinical governance.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and concepts.
- Effective communication and presentation skills to engage teams and stakeholders.
